Lesions / pain at the medial (inside) aspect of the elbow
Occurs during the late and early cocking phase of throwing
Signs/symptoms:
Medial (inside) elbow pain
Decreased throwing speed/distance
Swelling
Point tenderness
Flexion contracture (up to 15 degrees) - Lack of full elbow extension
X-ray: widening of growth plate
