  • Shoulder Instability occurs when the lining of the shoulder joint, ligaments or labrum become stretched, torn or detached allowing the humeral head (ball of the shoulder joint) move out of the socket. 

  • Typically affects the younger population under 20

  • Can occur from an injury to the shoulder joint such as subluxation or dislocation or can be due to underlying joint hyper mobility

  • Signs/Symptoms:

    • Feeling like the shoulder is going to “slip out” of the joint

    • Clicking

    • Pain with overhead activities or after activity/feeling fatigued

One time

You will have access to three phases of exercise progression. As you improve each phase advances your exercises. Start with Phase 1 and as those become easy advance to the next phase. Average time in each phase is about 4 weeks. We recommend starting with 5 days a week in phase 1. Phase 2, alternate both sets 2 days each. Phase 3, preform each phase 1 time a week. If you experience pain as you move on, continue with the pain free exercises till able to progress.
